I wore this to a black-tie wedding in the hills and it was perfect. The velvet skirt is so rich and fitted, and the sheer mesh cape overlay adds this gorgeous dramatic touch without being heavy. The slit makes walking easy. I'm a US12 and was worried about online ordering, but the wrap ruching at the side accommodates my curves perfectly. The navy color photographs beautifully at golden hour. Best purchase I've made this year.
Hi Charlotte! Thank you for the amazing review! The mesh cape overlay is our signature design detail for this style — it adds drama while keeping the look light. We're so glad the wrap ruching worked for your curves. Enjoy the celebrations!
The velvet is soft and rich, the chiffon cape is a beautiful bonus that covers my upper arms, and the ruched waist is very flattering. The slit is modest but practical. I received so many compliments as the mother of the groom.
Congratulations on your son's wedding! We're thrilled you loved the dress.
Got US10 in navy. The cape overlay is so flattering and the velvet feels luxurious. Perfect for a winter mother-of-the-bride look.
So glad you love it! Thank you.
it fit beautifully. The velvet is rich and soft, the chiffon cape overlay is so classy and flattering for the arms, and the ruched waist hides my midsection. The slit makes walking easy. Wore it as mother of the bride and felt comfortable and appropriate all day.
