I've never owned a pleated dress before and now I'm obsessed. The pleats give the fabric movement and texture that flat satin doesn't have. This dress catches light differently throughout the day. The one shoulder design is slimming on the upper body. The A-line skirt falls softly. The waist brooch defines where my waist actually is. I wore this as a wedding guest and felt appropriately dressed up without being over the top.
Stitching is clean, brooch is firmly set, pleats are evenly pressed. Looks like it cost twice as much.
